Histamine H4 receptor (pronounced as his-ta-meen H-four re-cep-tor) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HRH4 gene.

Function

It plays a key role in the inflammatory response and has been implicated in conditions such as Asthma, Allergic rhinitis, and Inflammatory bowel disease.
