Lomustine - (pronounced) (loh-mus-teen) A drug used to treat brain tumors that have already been treated with surgery or radiation therapy and Hodgkin's lymphoma that got worse after treatment with other anticancer drugs . It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Lomustine damages the cell's DNA and can kill cancer cells. It's a type of alkylating agent and a type of nitrosourea.
